Teachers: The Architects of Knowledge and Growth

Image
The theme "Together4Teachers" for this year's National Teachers Month serves as a potent reminder of our shared thanks and solidarity with educators. Teachers are the backbone of society; they not only mold students' minds but also our country's future. Their unceasing efforts to educate the kids extend beyond the classroom as they foster a lifelong love of study, critical thinking, and values.        Teachers struggle to cope with a constantly changing world, showing persistence and commitment in the face of obstacles including changing educational environments and social demands. Their persistent dedication to helping every kid succeed is a source of optimism, producing a new generation of leaders, inventors, and kind citizens.        Through "Together4Teachers," we honor their commitment, which frequently goes unappreciated, as well as their significant influence on our communities' future. We celebrate the par...

The Philippines is a tropical country that often experiences extreme natural disasters like floods, typhoons, heavy rains, etc. The Philippines, one of the world's most disaster-prone countries, must put or prioritize resiliency first to protect its infrastructures and people. To enable individuals to make preparations for what wi...

Dear President Marcos,

Dear President Marcos ,            I am writing this to express my deepest anger and frustration towards your administration. Many Filipinos hoped for a meaningful change and to break the shadows of the past. But why? It feels like the shadows from the past are returning. The issues of corruption have long hindered the progress and success of our nation. It’s so disappointing to see the faces implicated in corruption scandals, and yet there's no action or consequences. Your administration's handling of critical issues such as the environment, education, healthcare facilities, and inflation, has left much to be desired. The lack of urgency and actions in addressing the nation’s and citizen's concerns is alarming. A lot of Filipinos are suffering, and you often speak about economic growth and development but why there’s no improvements? It feels as though the government has turned its back on those Filipinos who need help the most and favoring the e...

I grew up with a serial entrepreneur mother and father. When I was still at a younger age, my parents and grandparents enrolled me in different classes and registered me in different activities that I had no interest in but forced me to attend those classes and activities.                 My parents raised me kind and respectful and...
